Inside Trampoline

How Trampoline works

Trampoline is an AI game builder for Roblox: describe a game in plain English and it builds the parts, scripts and mechanics live in your Roblox Studio place. This page covers the three steps, what it can build, how the plugin stays safe, and the questions people ask first.

Three steps, then you just talk

How does Trampoline work?

Trampoline connects a chat builder in your browser to Roblox Studio through a small plugin. You describe the game or mechanic you want, the AI reads your place, then creates the parts and Luau scripts directly in Studio. Every change is a normal undo step, and you press Play to test it.

  1. 1

    Install the plugin

Get Trampoline Bridge from the Roblox Creator Store, or drop the single .lua file into Studio's Plugins folder. It adds one Trampoline button to your toolbar and nothing else.

  2. 2

    Pair with a code

Open a game in the Trampoline builder, paste its six-character code into the plugin and press Connect. The pairing lasts for the whole session.

  3. 3

    Say what you want

Type what you want in plain English. Trampoline reads your place, creates the parts and scripts in Studio, then tells you exactly how to test it. Every change is a normal undo step.

Built for the way Roblox games are actually made

What can Trampoline build in Roblox Studio?

Anything you would otherwise build by hand: obbies, tycoons, simulators, pet systems, round-based games, shops, leaderboards and the scripts behind them. Trampoline creates parts, models and folders, writes server and client Luau in the right services, and reads your Output window to fix errors. On the Creator plan it also generates 3D assets and sound effects.

It works inside your place, not a sandbox.

Every part, folder and script lands in the real DataModel of the game you have open. Press Play the second it finishes.

Read Workspace
Create Part "LavaFloor" in Workspace.Trampoline
Write Script ServerScriptService.Trampoline.LavaKill

Real Luau, in the right place

Server code in ServerScriptService, client code in StarterPlayerScripts, remotes in ReplicatedStorage.

local Players = game:GetService("Players")

lava.Touched:Connect(function(hit)
	local player = Players:GetPlayerFromCharacter(hit.Parent)
	if player then
		hit.Parent.Humanoid.Health = 0
	end
end)

Undo is Cmd+Z

Each change is recorded in Studio's history. If you don't like it, undo it like anything else.

Reads your Output window

Errors from Play sessions stream back to the AI, so it fixes its own mistakes before you notice them.

Knows what is already there

Before building, Trampoline looks at your existing tree so nothing gets duplicated or overwritten.

One plugin. It stays out of your way

Is the Trampoline Studio plugin safe?

Yes. Trampoline Bridge is a single Luau file you can read in full in about ten minutes. It long-polls your project for work, applies it with Studio's own APIs as separate undo steps, and reports back. It never uploads your place file and only sends the instances and scripts the AI asks about while you are connected.

Reads

  • Instance names, classes and positions you ask about
  • Script sources the AI needs to edit
  • Output window lines while connected

Writes

  • Only the instances and scripts you asked for
  • Every change as a separate undo step
  • Inside a Trampoline folder so you can find it

Never

  • Uploads your place file
  • Runs anything while disconnected
  • Talks to any server but yours

What is Trampoline?

Trampoline is an AI game builder for Roblox. You describe a game or a mechanic in plain English in a chat, and it creates the parts, models and Luau scripts directly inside your Roblox Studio place through a small plugin. It is free to start and works with games you have already begun.

Do I need to know how to code to make a Roblox game with AI?

No. You describe what you want and Trampoline writes the Luau and places everything in the right Roblox services for you. If you do know Luau, you can read and edit every script it writes right in Studio, and keep refining it through the chat.

How does Trampoline connect to Roblox Studio?

Through the Trampoline Bridge plugin, a single Luau file from the Roblox Creator Store. You open a project in the builder, paste its six-character pairing code into the plugin and press Connect. The plugin then applies the AI's changes with Studio's own APIs while you watch.

Which AI models does Trampoline use?

Trampoline builds with GPT-6 Luna and DeepSeek V4 Flash, both tuned for Roblox and Luau. On any plan you can also connect your own ChatGPT Plus, Pro or Business plan, and Luna builds then run on it without using any credits, so your credits go to thumbnails, 3D assets and sound.

Does it work with a game I already started?

Yes. Before it builds, Trampoline reads the part of your place it is about to change, so it adds to what is there instead of replacing it. Nothing gets duplicated or overwritten, and new work lands in a Trampoline folder so you can find it.

What if I don't like a change?

Every change is a normal Studio undo step, so Cmd+Z or Ctrl+Z removes it like anything else. You can also ask the builder to remove or rework what it made, and you can inspect every script before you press Play.

Is my game uploaded anywhere?

No. Your place file stays on your computer. The plugin sends only the instance names, properties and script text the AI asks about, plus Output window lines while it is connected, and it never runs anything while disconnected.

How much does Trampoline cost?

Free costs nothing and needs no card: 5 credits a month, one game, GPT-6 Luna and one thumbnail. Creator is $14.99 a month for 100 credits, unlimited projects, GPT-6 Luna and DeepSeek V4 Flash, plus thumbnail, image, 3D and sound generation. Every plan can run Luna builds on your own ChatGPT plan without credits, so Creator's credits go to assets. Credit packs add more credits on any plan and never expire.

Can Trampoline make 3D models and sound effects for Roblox?

Yes, on the Creator plan. Type /3d-asset to turn a description into a textured 3D model, or /sound-effect to generate a sound effect or loop, then use them in your game. Concept images, 3D assets and sounds share the plan's monthly credits.

Is Trampoline made by Roblox?

No. Trampoline is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox Corporation. It works alongside the official Roblox Studio through a plugin you install and can read in full.
